RLC unveils newest project in Cebu

Robinsons Land Corp. (RLC), the property arm of the Gokongwei holding firm JG Summit Holdings Inc., unveiled yesterday its newest project in Cebu called Aspen Heights – a master planned residential community to be patterned after the Aspen ski resort in the US.

“Aspen Heights will be the next big thing in the province following the success of our pilot project in Mactan, Cebu,” said Marilu M. Alferez, senior vice-president and general manager of RLC’s housing division.

The project, which will rise on a 12-hectare property in Consolacion town, will feature rolling hills and lush manicured gardens similar to Aspen in Colorado, the winter capital of the US.

“An open space which nestles on top of the highest point in the property can afford residents to experience resort living while spending lazy mornings at the pool area and relishing the breath-taking view of the entire Mactan Island,” Alferez said.

She said Aspen Heights, located 15 to 20 minutes away from downtown Cebu, will be a fully-gated community offering 24-hour security. It will also feature a multi-purpose clubhouse.
