Tony Leviste’s close call

SPYBIZ - S.A. Maguire -
Our hangar Spy-ring reported that Tony Leviste had a close call a couple of days before Election Day as his helicopter was about to take off from FF Cruz’s hangar. Without the pilot’s knowledge, a ton of campaign paraphernalia meant for Loren’s leaders in Calapan, Mindoro was stowed aboard. The payload exceeded the manufacturer’s specifications resulting in the failure of the hydraulics system at a height of 15 feet. The helicopter stalled and dropped like a rock breaking its tailbone and parts of the fuselage’s skin. Leviste should thank his lucky stars that he survived. Some wags said it was a mixed blessing for Loren. If something happened to him, it would be a sure win for Loren because of the votes of relief she would get. Why, she could even consider running for Prime Minister next time around. In 1998, GMA had a similar close call when her helicopter’s rotors almost got snagged in a high-tension wire while taking off from La Vista.
Games People Play
Opposition insiders were complaining before the weekend that they were having difficulty withdrawing funds in small denominations. Bank employees told them that they were out of small bills. These are essential for poll watching and other post-election activities. They should have anticipated this old pre-election maneuver. It’s the oldest in the book. On another front, our Palace Spy-ring reported that they have been quietly monitoring the movement of retired senior military officers in NCR, most especially civilian group actions for FPJ. The scenario sees retired officers highlighting and projecting massive cheating by the Administration. This will be followed by agitated FPJ supporters rising up in revolt. The objective is to reportedly install a civilian military junta. This scenario was confirmed by the Left last Friday. They, too, are monitoring the situation to see if they can exploit destabilization moves from the right. Gen. Braganza certainly has his hands full this week. It’s also no surprise that the US 7th Fleet’s flagship, a command-and-control spy ship, is just docked in Subic.
They’ll Still Take The Left Wing
With the end of the Cold War, the New World Order, and 9/11, the Communists are still planning to take over RP. Strange but true! Many security officials believe that we have become complacent with the Communists. While no one was looking, they infiltrated widely and deeply the government and other sectors. This is a serious problem. Right now they only have three party list seats. They aimed to capture 12 party list seats yesterday through the militant parties: Bayan Muna, Anak Pawis, Anak ng Bayan, Migrante, Courage, and Gabriela. Failing this, security officials expect them to unleash economic sabotage through massive wildstrikes for the rest of the year to turn off investors. The Left Wing still persists in taking the anachronistic path.
Bro. Eddie’s Historic Rally
Our top Eye-spy confirmed that Bro. Eddie Villanueva attracted the attention of US secret agents when he drew a crowd of 3.5 million in his last Luneta rally. Having done that, he could land in the Guinness Book of World Records for staging the biggest political gathering in world history. He could join the ranks of elite Filipinos who have made the Guinness list. The televangelist might consider getting on the intelligence dossier of the Embassy as another consolation prize. This week, we heard that he is aiming for the dubious achievement of being the "primary victim of massive electoral irregularities."
Spy Tidbiz: Enzo Hospitalized
Our Alabang Ear-spy disclosed that Iñigo Zobel rushed his father, Enrique Zobel, to a private hospital. The 76-year old EZ is being treated and monitored for complications of the liver and the kidney. EZ fell off his horse "Juanita" during a April 1991 polo practice session in Spain. He nearly died, but his will to survive was so strong that he lived, albeit paralyzed from the neck down. The family is praying for his recovery. EZ does it.
