The emperor without any clothes

Cebu earspies heard so many complaints from KNP supporters about having no access to FPJ without the clearance of the "Dancing Queen" and the "Comedian Jester". In fact, earspies also heard the KNPs senatorial candidates have the same problem. The "Dancing Queen" and the "Comedian Jester" have been blocking all entry points to FPJ. Even before he could assume the throne, the candidate is already isolated from truth and reality. How much more if he gets to the Palace. These two "clowns" could just usurp power and allow "Da King" to reign while they get to rule. If things dont change soon enough, they may find themselves serving an emperor without any clothes on.
The Man from Istanbul, our topmost eyespy, confided that the military and the intelligence community do not trust a particular senior security official. This goes especially for old hands at his agency and at the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA). Whenever the official is involved in delicate peace negotiations, he is reportedly working in favor of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) and the Malaysians. Somebody ought to remind him that he is charged with advocating the interest of the Philippine government. In addition, the Christian and Muslim groups in Mindanao consider him persona non grata of the highest order. This official prides himself as a political operator. But former associates, and even a former landlord, describe him as more of a business operator. It seems that he is fomenting more insecurity than usual in his new position.
Earspy Popeye fed us the information that a shipping firm is the now subject of a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) probe on alleged discrepancies in its financial report that was flawed by accounting lapses. It reportedly declared a net income after tax of P103 million in its 2002 financial report to the SEC after a P1.8-billion consolidated net loss in 2001. The SEC general accountant asked the firms president to explain why the company overlooked crucial parts of its 2002 financial report. The firms corporate information officer said that the board and audit and management committees are "carefully examining the substance of the SECs inquiry." Insiders revealed that the firm committed to its mother firm that they would make good on this supposed profitability scheme by transferring at least P100 million in cash to the latter as a combination of dividends and payments on corporate intra company loans. They added that the firm was able to raise the funds by holding back payments to their suppliers. That is why it is facing a lawsuit from a Japanese-owned ship repair and drydocking facility for non-payment of its outstanding obligations amounting to millions of pesos.
Palace earspies disclosed that the favored presidential adviser is responsible for resurrecting the return of a big Asian Gaming Lord through his frontman. The adviser reportedly assured the Gaming Lord that he would no longer need fronts for his businesses as he previously did in two Luzon sites because of the Administrations looming victory. The media, however, got wind of this fastbreak attempt and got his boss and the PAGCOR chief in hot water again. The advisers latest fastbreak attempt blew up in his face. This adviser will never have the sense of timing and the subtlety that his father has been known for. In fact, he recently delivered a speech at his fathers old office where he claimed that he can be better than his father. He can never be better than his father because he didnt get his fathers good traits. For the good of his boss, he should be exiled abroad to prevent him from causing more trouble for her campaign.
Irate Customs officials, who were affected by the lifestyle check imposed on them, whispered that a Big Man from up the River brought in a lot of Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs) two weeks ago. Supposedly exempted were more than 20 Land Cruisers and Sequoia SUVs. These are intended to be used in aid of reelection efforts. If Japanese mountain bikes were brought in, instead of the gas guzzlers, the Big Man could speed up his fitness program. As it is, he is making a lot of progress in his weight-loss program even if he isnt seen much on the campaign trail.
