The infamous, meddling presidential adviser and his camel driver are at it again. This time they’re paying off this gossip-columnist-Jukebox Queen, also known as "Ate Vi", with a measly 880 pesos to dance to their version of Ocho-ocho. It’s very obvious that this infamous Presidential Adviser is after Ambassador Philippe Lhuillier, wanting to put his own man in Rome. This rascal presidential adviser always wanted to be the DFA chief but could never get through the Commission on Appointments. So, he uses his proximity to the President to get his lackeys appointed to plum ambassadorial posts. At this time of the political season, when GMA needs friends, this notorious presidential adviser is creating more enemies for her. Apparently, the Ocho-ocho Dancing Queen "Ate Vi" is glad to do the demolition job for this infamous presidential adviser because he despises Lhuillier anyway. "Ate Vi" has been dying to be included in Ambassador Philippe Lhuillier’s party guest list where most of Manila’s 400 usually attend. He thought being a lapdog of "Honey Pie" would give him status. Security Guards have spotted "Ate Vi" stalking the Ambassador’s Dasmariñas residence, salivating and hoping that one day he would get invited.

According to our ear-spies, Balajay told her victims that she has a European partner but hasn’t fully disclosed her deal. Having been detained in Makati for syndicated estafa for close to a year already, she promised to pay everyone in exchange for criminal charges to be relegated to civil charges. She claimed that the money to repay the victims is already at the BSP but is being withheld by the Anti-Money Laundering Committee (AMLC). Receiver settlements have been filed already, but judges have yet to decide on these motions. The DOJ and the BSP should immediately act on this. Fast.

Enterprising Agbayani

Our Pangasinan ear-spies have overheard from staff members of the Governor’s Office that Governor Victor Agabayani is leaving no stone unturned in his plan for reelection. He has reportedly offended former Agrarian Reform Minister Conrado Estrella with a strange request: That allegedly he be given a share of jueteng revenues in the districts controlled by the Estrellas. It was said that Pangasinan’s political establishment was not surprised by Agbayani’s enterprising spirit. Somebody should nominate him as a possible candidate for the Rolex Enterprise Awards.

Why Stradcom wins contracts

Despite noisemakers who are raising the issue that Stradcom International Holdings Inc., having won three of the government’s biggest computerized projects, is delaying and overpricing these projects, in truth, according to our ear-spies, the group has improved the performance level of some of government’s key agencies. Because of the computerization projects, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), the Land Registration Authority (LRA), and the Land Transportation Office (LTO) have greatly speeded up transactions for the public’s good, and has increased revenues for the agencies. Moreover, it cut down the operations of corrupt officials and fixers. According to Stradcom, they won these contracts because they partnered with credible firms like Comfac, Unisys, Australia Ltd. and FF Cruz and Co., Inc. As a result of this combined expertise, the group is assuring the public that it has greatly reduced project costs so they could submit the lowest bid without sacrificing quality of work and technological qualification.
