Quedancor prexy represents RP in regional seminar

Dr. Nelson C. Buenaflor, president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Quedan and Rural Credit Guarantee Corp. (Quedancor), is representing the Philippines in the on-going regional seminar of the Association of Food and Agricultural Marketing Agencies in Asia and the Pacific (AFMA) in New Delhi, India.

The five-day seminar held in cooperation with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), is hosted by the Food Corp. of India. It has for its theme "National Food Agencies: Challenge of the New Millennium:

Buenaflor, who is vice chairman of AFMA, is the incoming chairman of the group, an organization of 25 food marketing agencies in the Asia Pacific region promoting technology transfer and experience in food marketing.

During the week-long seminar, Buenaflor is presenting a paper titled "The Role of Marketing and Credit Agencies in the New Millennium."
