Touch Mobile offers more value-added treat
November 15, 2003 | 12:00am
Touch Moble subscribers are in for another value-added treat as Touch Mobile gives them more value for their money with the introduction of its free-text-based-on-load service. This allows them to earn more free text depending on the call card denomination they load, which means the more they load, the more free text they earn.
Through this service, a subscriber will be able to use the free text without waiting for the next month as he automatically earns 25 free text for every P200 denomination of call card loaded, 35 for P300, 60 for P400 and 85 for P500.
Upon reloading, a subscriber will be advised or informed about his total account balance at the time of reloading plus how many free text he has received and the date of expiry as well.
With this innovation, there are now four ways by which subscribers can reload and avail of the free text the standard plastic call card, the electronic load (eLoad), the Touch Mobile Instaload, and the newly launched Family Autoload Service.
To reload using the familiar plastic call card, a subscriber will only have to dial 801 and follow the voice prompt. Denominations available are P50, P100, P200, P300 and P500.
The eLoad is similar to the plastic call card process except that it comes in paper format that can be purchased in different chains nationwide like gas stations, banks, and Globe Business Centers. The Electronic loads come in P50, P100, P200 and P400 denominations.
Through Touch Mobile InstaLoad, a registered subscriber is allowed to reload using different channels of the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) such as BPI automated teller machines nationwide, web access via BPI Express Online and IVR by dialing 89-100. Only P200 and P400 demonations are available for this type of reloading.
The Family AutoLoad is an electronic means of purchasing and topping-up airtime load credits which allows a Family Loader to pass on credits over the air to other Touch mobile users in the family. A minimum purchase of P400 is required under this reloading system.
