Food Fest for Historic Milestones at CPH

"Kaluto-Pasinaya" is a Filipino food festival showcasing the best native dishes from the countrys different regions. To run up to June 24 at the Café in the Park of the Century Park Hotel, this food festival commemorates two milestone celebrations this month of June Philippine Independence Day and Araw ng Maynila.
At the hotels lower lobby right by the entrance of the Café in the Park is an exhibit showcasing indigenous fabrics and handicrafts for the duration of the food fest. Simultaneously, Pinoy dishes like Estofadong Dila (Braised Ox Tongue), Inihaw na Dalag at Buro (Mudfish with Fermented Rice), Pinais na Alimasag (Stuffed Crab Broiled in Banana Leaves) and Bicol Express (Pork Ribs in Spicy Shrimp Sauce) are some of the mouth-watering Filipino delicacies that await you in the hotels very popular daily lunch and dinner buffet.
The Lynx, Ford Groups first product to be manufactured in the Philippines and exported to other markets was given due recognition and honors by having a limited 100 units Centennial Edition produced to mark the celebration of Fords Centennial Year.
The Ford Lynx Centennial Edition with a 2-liter VICS engine that boasts of an unmatched power in its class of 142 ps at 6,000 rpm was dressed to the max as it was ceremoniously unveiled last Tuesday evening at the Ford Motor Show, which is currently on-going at the Glorietta Activity Center.
The "Vios Sighting Tour" was a whirlwind two-day visit made by the newly launched Toyota Vios to the "trendiest nightspots that are frequented by the Vios young market."
The blitz visit made last May 23 and 24 by the Toyota group included the Alabang Town Center, Timog Ave., Libis, QC and Greenbelt, Makati.
More of these blitz tours to the gathering nests of the young set are expected to be made all through out the country as Toyota zero in on the trendy youth who can afford or whose parents can as the most likely buyers of their new Vios.
