CLARK FIELD, Pampanga Additional world-class vacation villas worth P187 million will soon rise at the Clark Special Economic Zone (CSEZ) in line with its image enhancement program aimed at converting the ecozone as a prime tourist destination in Central Luzon.
The construction of the housing resort is the result of a lease agreement between New Sampaguita Builders Construction Inc. (NSBCI) and Clark Development Corp.
CDC president and CEO Emmanuel Angeles said NSBCI would infuse more than P187 million for the construction of vacation villas in a three-hectare area which would include other amenities such as a swimming pool, clubhouse, playground, garden park, and sports facilities.
He said the housing resort will be put up at the back of Redwood Villa, which has been one of the frequently visited housing villas inside the zone.
The CDC president said the construction of new vacation villas at Clark zone would boost tourism here into greater heights and that these tourism-related projects are complementing CDCs vision of making CSEZ as the countrys premier international airport and tourist destination.
NSBCI has established other similar projects such as the Marabella Club Resort in Ternate, Cavite; Fort Ilocandia Five Star Hotel in Laoag, Ilocos Norte and the Banaue Hotel in Mt. Province.
NSBCI President Eduardo Dee said the firm would also undertake the construction of some 1,400 series housing units in the proposed project site.
NSBCI is duly licensed with the Philip-pine Contractors Accreditation Board, which has a principal classification and category on General Building and Engineering of Triple A.
The firm, aside from developing world-class resorts and hotels, has also been engaged in the construction of roads, highways, pavements, railways, airports, irrigation, industrial plant, playground and other recreational works.
