Webcor, UK firm join forces for China venture

Webcor Construction Inc., one of the countrys leading providers of pre-engineered metal structures, recently forged a new partnership with UK-based Atlas Ward Structures Ltd.
Locally recognized as the premiere exponent of completely packaged metal structures, Webcor has paved the way for the wide acceptance of this very modern buiding concept in the count, with prestigious projects for companies like Ayala Corp., Filinvest, SM Prime Holdings, Moldex Products and Philusa Corp. among many others.
Atlas Ward Structures Ltd., is a British company specializing in designing and fabricating various steel building packages all over the world.
The partnership between the two industry giants has ushered in the creation of "Atlas Ward Structures China," whch is geared towards designing, fabricating and utilizing pre-engineered metal structures for various projects in the said country.
The newly formed company is expected to generate more business opportunities that would include a technopark complex, hotel, an entertainment/leisure complex and a shopping mall in Shanghai, China.
