PAL resumes Cotabato flights

Philippine Airlines resumed regular service between Manila and Cotabato City on March 12, 2003, following the reopening of Awang Airport to commercial flights.

PAL flights to the city were suspended Feb. 21 after a bomb-laden vehicle exploded on the airport’s perimeter a day earlier.

PAL will follow its usual timetable for the Cotabato service, using Boeing 737-300 aircraft. Flight PR 187 departs Manila at 9:50 a.m. daily, arriving in Cotabato at 11:25 a.m.

The return flight, PR 188, departs Cotabato at 12:15 p.m. and touches down in Manila at 1:45 p.m.
