Cebu Pacific flies B-757 to Cebu, Davao

-
To accommodate increasing passenger and cargo traffic, Cebu Pacific (CEB) will be using Boeing 757 aircraft from Manila to Cebu and Davao starting March 1.

Boeing 757 will be used on Manila-Davao flights 5J 961, which leaves at 5 a.m. and 5J 963, which leaves at 10:20 a.m.; and on return flights 5J 962, departing at 7:40 a.m. and 5J 964, leaving 1 p.m.

For the Cebu route, the B757 will be used for 5J 561 and 5J 569, leaving Manila at 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. respectively, as well as 5J 562 and 5J 570, departing Cebu at 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

"With the 179-seater Boeing 757, we can board more passengers and cargo," said Salvador Ramirez, CEB’s VP/GM for Passenger and Cargo Sales. "And the present demand in our Cebu and Davao markets prescribes additional seats and cargo space."

Ramirez added that for P330 more for the Cebu route and P428 for Davao, passengers can opt for the B757’s Cebu Class, which offers wider seats, more leg room, the use of Summit Club lounges in both Manila and Cebu, and priority baggage handling.

"The Boeing 757 is known as one of the quietest planes in the world and has an exceptional dispatch reliability record, which means flights take off and arrive on schedule. And Cebu Pacific takes on-time flying very seriously," said Ramirez. "Plus, the aircraft’s roomy interior offers comfortable personal space for passengers."

At present, Cebu Pacific has three B757s, two in corporate eagle design, and one, touted as the "City of Manila," depicts colorful scenes distinct to the metropolis.
