Finex sets induction of 2003 officers

The Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX) will induct its 2003 officers and board of directors in ceremonies to be held at the Ballroom of the Hotel Intercontinental Manila tomorrow, Jan. 15.
Headlined "Sulong Filipino! Magtiwala, Magkaisa!" this years theme underlines the directions that the 35-year-old organization has set for the year.
"We are focusing on three key areas for this year. One is to encourage and support the rise of the Filipino entrepreneur, particularly within the SME sector in the countryside; two is to promote the practice of good governance in both and private sectors; and lastly, for FINEX to form partnerships with local government units in order to help them create business-friendly investment climates in their specific areas," says incoming FINEX president, Edgardo L. Limon.
