Li & Fung head to speak on China WTOs impact on Asean

Dr. Victor K. Fung, chairman & CEO of the Hong Kong-based Li & Fung Distribution Group, will deliver a special address on "China WTO and Impact on ASEAN" on Sept. 4 at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel.
Dr. Fung will share his insights on the probable effects of the China WTO on ASEAN. He is also expected to offer suggestions on how the countries in ASEAN would be able to cope positively with this development.
Clients and business partners of JDH (Philippines), Inc. and IDS Logistics (Philippines), Inc., subsidiaries of the Li & Fung Distribution Group in the Philippines, are among the invited guests. Other business community leaders will also attend Dr. Fungs special address. An open forum follows after the address to allow attendees to interact with him directly on the object.
Li & Fungs extensive supply chain management operations include manufacturing, marketing and logistics in Greater China and the ASEAN, which provides the company with a strategic vantage point on developments in the region related to the China WTO.
Dr. Fung is former chairman of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, and is currently the chairman of the Hong Kong Airport Authority.
