McCann-Erickson announces top appointments

Emily Abrera, chairman of top advertising agency McCann-Erickson Philippines, recently announced the appointments of Patricia N. Arches to the position of chief executive officer and Susan L. Dimacali to executive vice president for business development and external affairs.

Formerly its COO, Arches is concurrently president of McCann, the largest advertising agency in the country. She joined the company in 1986, quickly proving her capabilities in the areas of operational effectiveness and finance management.

Named president in 1999, Arches’ quiet demeanor belies an intensely competitive spirit and a dedication to excellence that have solidly contributed to McCann’s continuing success.

Dimacali, who has been head of McCann’s Account Service since 1999, is known for the passion and energy she brings to the workplace, as well as for the key role she plays in the advertising industry. Elected two consecutive times as Adboard chairman, and board director of the 4As-P, Dimacali has already begun to parlay her 21 years of brand management experience into new business gains for the agency.

Both Arches and Dimacali have won the prestigious H.K. McCann Leadership Award, in 1990 and 1995, respectively, for their outstanding contributions.
