Mitsubishi signs supply deal with US oil company

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corp. recently entered into a multi-billion peso supply contract with Pro Oil Corp., one of the leading lubricant specialists in the United States.
Under the supply contract, Pro Oil will provide all of Mitsubishis domestic and overseas lubricant requirements.
Amalle Oil Co., an independent lubricant blender, is supporting Pro Oils contract with Mitsubishi. Amalle Oil has worked with the biggest companies in the oil business.
Amalle Oil is well-established in North and Latin America and is now setting its sights in Asia. It is committed to support Mitsubishi and Pro Oil explore new markets for Mitsubishi motor oil, particularly China, where Amalle has an established distribution network.
Mitsubishi senior vice president for marketing Melchor R. Dizon said the specially blended lubricant for Mitsubishi is the highest grade of synthetic oil available in the market today.
"This is a special blend to meet our specifications," Dizon said, adding that "the specially blended oil is highly recommended for turbo- charged engines such as the Pajero and Strada."
Dizon said that Mitsubishi is also looking at the possibility of selling the specially blended oil to other markets in Asia.
Pro Oil general manager Joven Babaan said that Pro Oil and Amalle are flexible in meeting the demanding lubricant requirements of vehicle makers.
Mitsubishi Motors Philippines is ranked by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines (CAMPI) as the second largest vehicle producer in the country.
