Domestic air carrier Asian Spirit is advising passengers booked during the Holy Week to come to the airport at least three hours before their scheduled fligths to avoid any inconvenience.
Sales and marketing head Lingling Rodriguez said that this year would definitely be busier, especially with the recent Malacañang proclamation of non-working holidays during the Lenten season.
"At lot of people have taken advantage of this long Holy Week break thats why we have added special flights just to accommodate them," Rodriguez revealed. "And since we fly mostly to tourist destinations like Boracay, Bohol, Marinduque, Palawan, and Baguio, to name a few, we expect a heavier than normal influx of passengers," she added.
Passengers are also reminded that if they fail to check-in at least 45 minutes before scheduled flight, they tend to lose their confirmed seats to wait-listed passengers.
