MANILA, Philippines — Flooding is reported in several areas in Metro Manila on Wednesday morning, August 19, as the state weather bureau PAGASA declared a red rainfall warning over the region.

As of 1:00 p.m, Metro Manila Development Authority and local governments reported flooding in the following areas:

Impassable to all types of vehicles

Valenzuela City

  • Lingunan Bridge - 24-26 inches, tire deep
  • T. Santiago Rubber Master Lingunan - 24-26 inches, tire deep

Malabon City

  • Gov. Pascual Ave (Sitio 6) - 10 inches, half-knee to knee deep
  • M.H. Del Pilar St. Barangay Maysilo - 10 inches, half-knee to knee deep
  • M.H. Del Pilar St. (Tatawid) Barangay Santulan - 10 inches, half-knee to knee deep
  • Don Basilio Bautista Barangay Hulong Duhat - 20 inches, half-knee to knee deep
