Derek Ramsay speaks up on fake supercar plate
MANILA, Philippines — Actor Derek Ramsay has broken his silence on his alleged use of a fake supercar plate.
The Land Transportation Office has verified that the license plates on the Porsche supercar featured an alphanumeric combination, which is different from the original plate number.
In an Instagram story, Ramsay said that all of his cars have proper license plates.
“I’ve seen the issue regarding the 918 Spyder on social media. I do not drive any cars with fake plates. Please read carefully the statement issued by the LTO to understand what is happening,” he said.
Ramsay said he has yet to receive a show-cause order, but he will cooperate and appear when summoned.
“To the LTO, I apologize for what is going on. Driving with fake plates is wrong and should not be tolerated,” he said.
