MANILA, Philippines — Local government units in Mimaropa have received patient transport vehicles from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) to boost access to emergency health services.

A turnover ceremony for the vehicles was held at the PCSO main office in Mandaluyong City on July 9.

The event was led by PCSO general manager Melquiades Robles, chairman Felix Reyes and board directors Imelda Papin and Jennifer Liongson-Guevara.

Under PCSO’s Medical Transport Vehicle Donation Program, two patient transport vehicles each were given to Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan.

The vehicles were received by Governors Humerlito Dolor of Oriental Mindoro, Eduardo Gadiano of Occidental Mindoro, Melecio Go of Marinduque, Trina Alejandra Fabic of Romblon and Amy Alvarez of Palawan.
