Fire hits Valenzuela commercial center

MANILA, Philippines — Two people were injured after a fire struck a commercial center in Barangay Paso de Blas, Valenzuela City yesterday.
The Bureau of Fire Protection said the blaze broke out shortly after 5 a.m. and escalated to third alarm at 5:59 a.m. The fire was declared out at 9:48 a.m.
Based on initial reports, around 50 stalls were destroyed. Seven families were displaced.
Arson probers said they have yet to determine what caused the fire.
