Bong Go aids Quezon City indigents

MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Bong Go has provided support to indigent residents in Batasan Hills, Quezon City.

With District 2 Councilor Mikey Belmonte, Go distributed on May 25 snacks, shirts, fans, vitamins, basketballs and volleyballs to 2,297 residents.

Qualified beneficiaries received financial aid.

“My priority is to support pro-poor programs,” Go said.

Go maintained that people should not thank him since serving the public is his job.

“We’re neighbors. I’ve been living in Teacher’s Village for 10 years,” he told the residents.
