MANILA, Philippines — Anim pang perso­nalidad ang isusunod kay Sen. Bato dela Rosa na iisyuhan ng arrest warrant ng International Criminal Court (ICC) na ilalabas sa mga susunod na araw.

Ito ang inihayag ni National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Director Melvin Matibag na sinabi pang ang pag-aresto kay Bato ay itinuturing nilang ‘test case’ sa kanilang mga operatiba.

“We have information that there are se­veral which will be issued with a warrant by the ICC,” saad ni Matibag sa press conference sa Saturday News Forum sa Dapo Restaurant sa Quezon City.

Si dela Rosa na dating PNP chief ang itinuturing na chief architect sa madugong drug war ni dating pangulong Rodrigo Duterte habang ang anim pang mga kilalang personalidad ay sangkot din umano sa extra judicial killings (EJK) sa drug war.

“It doesn’t matter who he is or ano man krimen niya. Basta may warrant, meron talaga kaming protocol na. So, kung may lumabas na additional warrant of arrest, we are always ready to enforce and to serve the warrant,” aniya.

Ayon pa kay Matibag, hindi magtatagal ay mahuhulog din sa NBI operatives si dela Rosa dahil may sinusundan na silang lead sa pinagtataguan nito.
