18 priority bills naipasa bago Holy Week break – Kamara

MANILA, Philippines — Umabot sa 18 mula sa 52 prayoridad na panukala ng Legislative Executive Development Advisory Council (LEDAC) ang naipasa ng House of Representatives at umusad sa bicameral confe­rence committee.

“A total of 18 p­riority measures already passed or moved to the bicam stage before the Holy Week break. Masigasig po ang inyong Kamara sa pagpasa ng mga prayoridad na panukala ng administrasyon. And so far, we are proud of what we have accomplished,” pahayag ni Majority Leader at Ilocos Norte Rep. Sandro Marcos.

Kabilang sa mahahalagang naipasa ang panukalang magbibigay ng kapangya­rihan sa Pangulo na bawasan o suspendihin ang excise tax sa produktong petrolyo, upang mabigyan ng agarang ginhawa ang publiko laban sa mataas na presyo ng langis at pagtaas ng halaga ng mga bilihin, transportasyon, at iba pang pangunahing pangangailangan.

Base sa tala ng House Committee on Rules, ang 18 prayoridad sa panukala ay nakalagpas na sa pinakamataas na yugto ng pagtalakay sa Kamara at patuloy nang isinusulong tungkol sa ganap na pagiging batas ay ang muling pagtatakda ng First Regular elections sa Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao na naratipikahan na sa bicam.

Gayundin ang National Center for Geriatric Health; pag am­yenda sa EPIRA; pagpapalakas sa ERC; Waste to Energy; amyenda sa Government Assistance to Students and Teachers in Private Education Act; Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations Act.; Amendments to the National Building Code; Blue Economy Act; National Reintegration Bill; Amendments to the ­Teachers Professionalization Act; Extension of Estate Tax Amnesty Period;. Department of Water Resources Bill; Amendments to the Bank Deposits Secrecy Law; Travel Tax Abolition; Digital Payments Act; Amendments to the Universal Access to Qua­lity Tertiary Education Act; Presidential Merit Scholarship Program at amyenda sa ­Biofuels Act.
