Disqualification case vs Pacquiao

MANILA, Philippines – Sinampahan ng disqualification case si Senatorial aspirant at kasalukuyang Sarangani representative Emmanuel "Manny" Pacquiao sa Commission on Elections (Comelec) ngayong Huwebes.

Nais ng nakilalang nagreklamong si Ferdinand Sevilla na maideklarang nuisance candidate si Pacquiao dahil pitong beses lamang siyang dumalo sa sesyon ng Kamara.

"While Pacquiao was consistently absent to train for his boxing bout, shoot his television programs, or shoot hoops in basketball games, he was denying his constituents representation," nakasaad sa petisyon ni Sevilla.

Kinuwestiyon din niya ang kakayanan ni Pacquiao bilang isang mababatas matapos ang pagdalo ng boksingero sa pagdinig ng Reproductive Health Bill.

"(He) unfortunately fumbled as he raised questions that had been asked and answered," dagdag ni Sevilla.

Kabilang si Pacquiao sa senatorial slate ng United Nationalist Alliance ni Bise Presidente Jejomar Binay.
