African drug mule kinasuhan sa DOJ

MANILA, Philippines - Pormal nang  sinampahan ng kaso sa Department of Justice ng  Bureau of Customs ang isang   South African  matapos  na masabat sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) ang dala nitong yielded 8.5 kilo ng  cocaine  na nagkakahalaga ng P40 milyon.

Paglabag sa Section 3601, na may kaugnayan sa Section 101 ng  Tariffs and Customs Code of the Philippines ang  isinampa laban kay Debbie Reyneke ni Customs Commissioner Ruffy Biazon  kasama si Customs Deputy Commissioner for Revenue Collection and Monitoring Group Maria Edita Tan.

 Ayon kay Biazon, ang pagkakadakip kay Reyneke ay bunsod ng intelligence network  ng  ahensiya. Nakatanggap sila ng report na may dalang  illegal drug ang suspect na   mariin naman nitong itinanggi. 

Dumating sa bansa si Reyneke mula Dubai sakay ng Emirates Airlines noong Oktubre 23.

Subalit nang tingnan ang  luggage nito nadiskubreng  positibo itong may dalang cocaine na kinumpirma naman ng  Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency .

Babala ni Biazon, walang makalulusot sa kanila lalo pa’t iligal ang mga kargamento at iligal na droga.
