Gun, car show pinag-isa
MANILA, Philippines - Pangungunahan ni Philippine National Police chief Director General Nicanor Bartolome ang pagbubukas ng 2012 Defense & Sporting Arms Show (DSAS) Part 2 na idaraos kasabay ng 6th Manila Auto Salon sa SMX Convention Center-Mall of Asia, Pasay City sa Nobyembre 29, 2012.
Ito ang unang pagkakataon na pinag-isa ang gun, car show na ngayon ay nasa ika-20 taon na kasabay ng pinakamalaking automotive after market fair na inaasahang makaaakit ng libu-libong mga gun at car hobbyist.
Ang pinagsanib na DSAS-MAS event ay tatagal ng limang araw mula Nobyembre 29 hanggang Disyembre 2, ayon kay Tradeshow International President Sophie de los Santos.
Ayon naman kay Association of Firearms and Ammunition Dealers (AFAD) President Neri Dionisio, organizer ng DSAS, bukod sa malaking bilang ng mga modernong armas na papasinayan sa gun show, mayroon ding libreng seminar sa responsible gun ownership na pangungunahan ng A2S5 Coalition, gun and handling safety, future of sport shooting, at how to check gun reliability at proper gun maintenance.
