Typhoid victims sa Cebu ipinagamot ng PCSO

MANILA, Philippines - Pinasan ng Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) ang hospitalization ng mga biktima ng typhoid outbreak sa Tuburan, Cebu.

“PCSO will shoulder the medical expenses of the typhoid patients being treated in the government hospitals in the area,” ayon kay PCSO general manager Jose Ferdinand M. Rojas II.

Sinabi ni GM Rojas, ina­tasan na nila ang PCSO sa Cebu upang mabilis na tulungan ang mga biktima ng outbreak.

“It is PCSO’s mandate to help fellow Filipinos especially during such emergency situations requiring medical attention,” wika ni Rojas.

Umabot na sa 4 katao ang iniulat na nasawi sa typhoid outbreak mula sa 900 kaso nito na naitala ng Department of Health.

Noong manalasa ang bagyong Sendong ay nasa P8.4 mil­yon ang naging tulong ng PCSO sa mga survivors ng landslides sa Cagayan de Oro at Iligan na matinding naapektuhan ng bagyo.
