MANILA, Philippines - Nag-aplay na kahapon sa Witness Protection Program ng Department of Justice (DOJ) ang aktres na si Janelle Manahan matapos ang pagbibigay ng detalyadong nalalaman nito sa pagpatay sa nobyong si Ramgen Revilla.
Sa pamamagitan ng counsel niyang si Atty. Restituto Mendoza, inihain ang request sa DOJ, sa giit na may pangamba sa buhay ang kliyenteng si Manahan dahil nakalalalaya pa ang suspect na si Ryan Montinola Pastera alyas “Bryan.”
“This is an urgent request of her family and from herself also because right now the Task Force Ramgen of the Paranaque police is temporarily securing her safety. We were informed already that as soon as she is admitted to the WPP, the temporary police detail will be replaced by agents of the NBI(National Bureau of Investigation) or whoever the DOJ will assign,” ani Atty. Mendoza.
Bukod pa rito ang natatanggap umanong pagbabanta rin sa pamamagitan ng text messages at sa social media networks.
“Marami nagsasabi sa kanya sa twitter or sa text na mag-ingat siya sa mga sasabihin niya. Yung pinaka recent yung she was cautioned by someone in giving her statement,” dagdag ni Mendoza.
