Integridad ng balota pinababantayan sa Comelec

MANILA, Philippines - Nagpalabas ng Temporary Protection Order ang Korte Suprema na siya ring tumatayong Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET) na nag-uutos sa Commission on Elections (Comelec) na i-secure ang integridad ng mga balota na bahagi ng election protest na inihain ni dating Senador Mar Roxas laban kay Vice-preside Jejomar Binay.

Sa 2-pahinang kautu­san ng Korte Suprema nakasaad na “our agents, representatives or persons acting in your place or stead, including the municipal treasurers, election officers and the responsible personnel and custodians are hereby directed to preserve and safeguard the integrity of the ballot boxes, their contents and keys, list of voters with voting re­cords, books of voters and other documents and paraphernalia used in the May 2010 elections for the position of Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines.”

Inatasan din nito na ingatan ang mga data storage devices kung saan naglalaman ito ng electronic data kung saan na­kalagay ang kinuku­wes­tiyon na 76,340 clustered precincts.

Naniniwala si Roxas na ang 727,084 na boto na sinasabing lamang ni Binay ay maliit lamang kumpara sa 3M null votes na hindi binilang.
