“Speaker Villar will go for Sonny Belmonte. He  had asked us (partymates) to pledge our support to the speakership bid of Belmonte… this maybe because they were friends and former colleagues. He already knew the qualities of Belmonte as a leader and as a person…being hardworking, smart and dependable,” pahayag ni Isabela Rep. Ana Cristina Go.

“Manny Pacquiao had also pledged support for me being my children’s friend for a long time.  Pacquiao was a good friend of us particularly the two executives of Philippines Star – Isaac and Miguel,” pahayag ni Belmonte .
