Protesta ni Mar dapat sa PET - Nograles

MANILA, Philippines - Iginiit kahapon ni House Speaker Pros­pero Nograles na hindi ikokonsidera ng Kon­greso ang protesta ng kampo ni Sen. Mar Roxas II hinggil sa ‘null votes’ nito.

“The public controversy regarding the number of ‘null votes’, which were not read by the PCOS (Precinct Count Optical Scan) machines, allegedly numbering more than a million votes for President and an allegedly whopping 2.6 million for vice president, won’t be considered by the Joint Canvass Committee,” ayon kay Nograles.

Sabi pa nito hindi dapat dalhin ang usa­pin ng protesta sa Kongreso kundi dapat aniya sa Presidential Electoral Tribunal sila magreklamo o mag-petition.

Ayon kay Atty. Joey Tenefrancia, abogado ni Roxas na nagha­handa na sila ng drafting para sa petition for a random manual audit sa mga lugar na may null votes.

Gayunman, sinabi ni Nograles kaysa dalhin ng kampo ni Roxas sa Kongreso ang kanilang problema dapat aniya sa Presidential Electoral Tribunal sila magpunta at mag-petition.

Sabi ni Nograles, ang problema ni Roxas ay “beyond the function of the joint congressional canvass body.

Hiniling ng kampo ni Roxas na bilangin ng manu-mano ang mga null votes.
