3 pusher sa Taguig pinalaya, PDEA pumalag

MANILA, Philippines - Pinalagan kahapon ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) ang desisyon ng Taguig Regional Trial Court na palayain ang tatlong drug pushers na nakakulong simula pa noong 2007.

Ayon kay PDEA Director General Dionisio Santiago, nakakadismaya ang walang batayang pagpapalaya sa tatlong pusher na ang nakahuli ay ang kanyang ahensya.

Nabatid na inutos ni Taguig RTC Judge Raul Bautista Villanueva na palayain ang magkapatid na Fernando at Alberto Tinga pati ang pamangkin nila na si Allan Carlos Tinga. Ang tatlong Tinga ay nahuli na nagtutulak ng ipinagbabawal na gamot o shabu noong Hulyo 6, 2007.

Sa reklamo ni Santiago, nagtataka siya kung bakit na-absuwelto at napalaya ang tatlong sinasabing miyembro ng “Tinga Drug Syndicate”.

“Is there such a thing as a hometown decision in the disposition of drug cases? We are confident that our agents did their job well and exercised regularity in the performance of their duties as mandated by Republic Act 9165. However, this is part of the limitations of law enforcement,” ani Santiago.

Inutusan na ni Santiago si PDEA Legal and Prosecution Service na pinangungunahan ni Atty. Alvaro Lazaro na gumawa ng apila at tingnang mabuti kung paano naabswelto ang tatlo.

Sinasabing pito na ang may apelyidong Tinga na may kaugnayan sa ipinagbabawal na gamot ang napaulat na nahuli ng mga awtoridad.
