Ceasefire ok sa AFP

Bilang pagbibigay diwa sa pagdiriwang ng kapaskuhan, inirekomenda na ng Armed Forces of the Philippines at Defense Department kay Pangulong Gloria Macapagal Arroyo ang tigil-putukan o suspension ng opensibang militar laban sa mga rebeldeng New People’s Army sa bansa.

Gayunman, nilinaw ni AFP-Public Information Office Chief Lt. Col. Ernesto Torres Jr. na ipauubaya na nila sa Malacañang ang de­sis­yon kung aaprubahan ang naturang reko­mendasyon. (Joy Cantos)
