Pinayuhan ni Senator Richard Gordon ang Comelec na maging maingat at transparent sa kanilang pagpasok sa multi-billion automation project para sa nationwide elections sa 2010.

Matatandaang nasangkot sa gulo ng Megapacific ang Comelec sa multi-million franchise deal para sa poll automation noong panahon ni dating poll chairman Benjamin Abalos.
Sinabi pa ni Gordon na muling masusukat ang leadership ni Chairman Melo sa kanyang pagpasok sa multi-billion procurement project kaugnay ng 2010 automated elections.
Iginiit din ng senador na kailangan kilatisin ng Comelec ang track record at qualifications ng technology providers upang masigurong walang tampering na mangyayari sa mga boto. (Doris Franche)
