Pinoy workers sasanayin para maging World Class

Upang mapunan ang mahigit isang milyong job demands sa iba’t ibang bansa, sinisimulan nang sanayin ang mga Filipino workers.

Sinabi kahapon ni Technology Educational and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Director General Buboy Syjuco, nakipag-ugnayan na umano sila sa Technical-Vocational Educational and Training (TVET) upang mabigyan ng sapat na pagsasanay ang mga manggagawang Pinoy.

Sa pakikipag-ugnayan ng TVET, tinalakay ang posibilidad na makapag-accommodate ng may 2,000 scholar para sa PGMA Train-for-work and Ladderized Education Program.

Kabilang sa mga nakikinabang sa naturang scholarship ang mga mahihirap at magagaling na iskolar ng bayan.

Ayon pa kay Syjuco, magsisilbing hamon para sa kanila na makapag-produce ng 1.62 million na world class Filipino Workers na kinakailangan sa iba’t ibang bansa sa mundo.

Ang 1.62 million na kinakailangang workers ay inihayag sa isinagawang Philippine Overseas Labor Office Conference. (Gemma Amargo-Garcia)
