Kaso vs Samuel Ong, 3 pa ibinasura ng korte

Ibinasura kahapon ng Makati City Regional Trial Court ang kasong serious illegal detention na isinampa ng Department of Justice (DOJ) laban kay dating National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) for Intelligence Deputy Director Atty. Samuel Ong at sa tatlo pa, na may kinalaman sa usaping "Mother of All Tapes" hinggil umano sa naganap na dayaan noong nakaraang May presidential election, na kinasangkutan ni dating Comelec Commissioner Virgilio Garcillano.

Nabatid na sina Ong, Angelito Santiago, character actor na si Rez Cortez at Wilson Fenix ay inakusahan na ikinulong nila sa San Carlos Seminary noong nakaraang taon si Sgt. Vidal Doble, isang intelligence agent ng Intelligence Service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (ISAFP).

Si Doble ang responsable umano sa pag-wiretap sa umano’y pakikipag-usap ni Pangulon Arroyo kay Garcillano noong nakaraang halalan.

Sa 9-pahinang desisyon ni Judge Benjamian Pozon, ng Branch 139, Makai City RTC, nakasaad dito na hindi napatunayan ng prosecution na si Doble ay puwersahang ikinulong nina Ong at ng tatlo pa sa San Carlos Seminary sa Guadalupe, Makati City noong Hunyo 10-13, 2005.

Sa kasalukuyan ay nagtatago si Ong dahil sa mayroon pa itong warrant of arrest na inisyu naman ni Judge Gina Teves ng Branch 64, Makati City Metropolitan Trial Court hinggil naman sa inciting to sedition na isinampa rin ng DOJ matapos itong manawagan upang pagbitiwin si Pangulong Arroyo.
