HSBC starts Internet banking

-
HSBC launched recently the HSBCNet, an Internet-based electronic banking solution for corporate customers.

Services offered are balance and transaction reporting, transfers, inquiries, mail options, and pay bills.

HSBCNet uses the latest and most secure technology with a 128-bit encryption code that protects all bank transfers and online bank instructions. All delegates will be provided with their Internet banking username, although users can choose their personal Internet banking password.

"We maintain strict security standards and procedures to prevent unauthorized access to information. HSBC will never contact customers by email or otherwise customers to validate personal information such as the user ID or password," it said in a statement.
