CEBU, Philippines — Mibahad si Cebu City Councilor Jocelyn Pesquera nga makasohan og administratiba ug kriminal ang mga indibidwal nga nagtaud sa mga light posts sa Osmeña Boulevard nga kabahin sa Link to the Port features sa Cebu Bus Rapid Transit (CBRT) tungod kay posibleng wala kini permit.
Kini human nga mitunga si Attorney Kent Jongoy, Assistant Department Head sa Cebu City Transportation Office (CCTO) sa city council atol sa presentation sa Link to the Port features of Cebu Bus Rapid Transit (CBRT) nga gilaumang mopalambo sa dan Colon sa dakbayan.
Matod niya, ang asphalt overlay sa Link to the Port lang ang ilang giaprobahan.
Apan gibutyag ni Jongoy, nagtaud ang contractor og light post nga nakaapekto sa trapiko sa dapit.
Atol sa session, mipresentar si Jongoy og video nga nagpakita sa pagtaod sa mga light post sa Osmeña Boulevard.
"This has taken away one lane," matud niya nga ang pagtaod walay pagtugot sa Traffic Management Coordination Committee (TMCC).
Atol sa diskusyon, mibutyag si Jongoy nga ilang giklaro sa contractor ug engineers sa Department of Transportation (DOTr), kinsa maoy implementing agency sa CBRT, nga ang asphalt overlay lang ang adunay permit lakip na ang pavement markings.
"We already deliberated and discussed this thing at the TMC, and we will be furnishing a copy to the office of the mayor," matud Jongoy.
Gipahimug-atan ni Pesquera atol sa presentation sa proposal sa Link to the Port nga gibuhat ni Engineer Norvin Imbong nga project manager usab sa CBRT nga di ma implementar ang mga plano kung way approval sa city government.
“I would like to suggest Mr. Chair and maybe by next session, we will pass a resolution the traffic transportation office should file the necessary criminal and administrative cases against those people who installed those posts because one it did not have permit, two it is an obstruction,” matud ni Pesquera.

“They just thought that they can do anything that they want to do without any regard of the city government without any regard of getting permits,” saysay ni Pesquera.
