MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Robinhood Padilla is expected to appear at tomorrow’s Department of Justice (DOJ) hearing on Sen. Ronald dela Rosa’s May 14 escape from the Senate.

Padilla and Lt. Col. Jean Alla Yasin Robles are facing a complaint for obstruction of justice for helping Dela Rosa, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court, leave the Senate premises.

At Vice President Sara Duterte’s impeachment trial yesterday, Padilla said he could see his “last day” in the Senate amid the DOJ hearing tomorrow.

“I don’t know what will happen next. I might miss all of you,” he said.
