Pag-aresto kang Duterte paimbestigahan sa Senado

CEBU, Philippines — Si Senador Imee Marcos nagtinguha nga paimbestigahan sa Senado ang kontrobersiya sa pag-aresto ug pagdala kang kanhi presidente Rodrigo Duterte ug pagpadala kaniya didto sa International Criminal Court sa Netherlands.

Kining plano ni Imee dakong sukwahi sa desisyon sa iyang igsuong si  Presidente Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. nga mitugot  sa pagkooperar sa INTERPOL nga nidakop kang Duterte.

Gani ang Office of the President pa maoy nigasto sa jet nga gisakyan pagdala kang Duterte ngadto sa The Hague.

 “As chairperson of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, I am calling for an urgent investigation into the arrest of former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, an issue that has deeply divided the nation,” matud pang Imee sa social media post.

“It is imperative to establish whether due process was followed and to ensure that his legal rights were not upheld but protected, especially given the involvement of the International Criminal Police Organization and the International Criminal Court,” dugang pa niya.

Gikatakdang imbitahon ang mga opisyales sa gobiyerno gikan sa Philippine National Police, Department of Justice, Department of Foreign Affairs ug uban pa.
