HRET: Protesta ni Durano batok ni Frasco dunay basehan

CEBU, Philippines – Ang House of Representatives Electoral Tribunal (HRET) adunay nakitang igong basehan nga mapadayon ang gisang-at nga protesta ni kanhi kongresista Red Durano batok kang 5th district Congressman Vincent “Duke” Frasco.

Ang nahisgutang reklamo mao ang pag-nullify sa proklamasyon ni Frasco isip kongresista diin gitumbok nga aduna kini iregularidad sa atol sa May 13, 2019 elections.

“Considering that the instant election protest does not fall among any of those cases which may be summarily dismissed as provided for in Rule 23, of the 2015 Rules of House of Representatives Electoral Tribunal, the Tribunal Orders the issuance of summons in this case”, tipik sa notisya sa HRET nga pirmahan ni Girlie Salarda, secretary sa Tribunal.

Si Atty. Gregorio Larrazabal, legal counsel ni Durano nihangop sa maong kalamboan.

“Our case cannot be dismissed and has merit. This is just the start and thankfully, we made it through the initial stage. Now it is just a matter of presenting evidences to the House of Representatives Electoral Tribunal to give more substance to our case”, matud ni Larrazabal.

Sa precautionary order sa HRET gimandoan niini ang mga election officer ug ang ubang personnel nga i-safeguard ang tanang ballot boxes lakip na niini ang mga naa sa sulod sa maong mga kahon lakip na ang lista sa mga botante nga adunay voting records, libro sa mga botante ug ubang election document ug paraphernalia nga gigamit sa election.
