Karne way permit gi-ban
CEBU, Philippines — Gipasalig sa Provincial Veterinary Office nga dunay igong supply sa karneng baboy sa tibuok Lalawigan sa Sugbo taliwala sa hulga sa African Swine Fever.
Kini taliwala sa mando ni Gobernador Gwendolyn Garcia alang sa temporaryong pag-ban sa mga karne nga walay permit nga makasulod ug gawas sa lalawigan.
Matud ni Provincial Veterinarian, Dr. Mary Rose Vincoy, nga bisan 100 ka adlaw o tulo ka buwan ang ban, masaligon siya nga dili magkuwang ang supply sa baboy.
Gani sa pagkakaron matud ni Vincoy nga sobra ang supply sa lalawigan.
Nisaad sab ang Central Visayas Pork Producers nga mo-supply sila sa tibuok lalawigan.
“It is hereby declared unlawful for anyone to bring into the Province of Cebu any and all kinds of pork and pork-related food products in whatever form of or quantity they may be, including those which are purely for consumption purposes only for a period of one hundred days for the effectivity of this Order,” pagbasa sa executive order ni Garcia.
Ubos sa EO, ang tugotan ra nga makasulod nga produkto sa baboy kadto lang dunay permit.
Sa mga locally-produced nga baboy, kinahanglan adunay Meat Inspection Certificate (MIC) gikan sa National Meat Inspection Services (NMIS) ug Veterinary Shipping Permit (VSP).
Sa mga imported nga karneng baboy, kinahanglan nga adunay Certificate of Meat Inspection (COMI) gikan sa NMIS ug VSP samtang ang mga processed pork o pork products kinahanglan adunay Licensed to Operate nga giisyu sa Food and Drug Administration (FDA). (/GMR)(BANATNEWS)
