Pagsaka sa presyo ‘minimal’ lang

CEBU, Philippines – Gihulagway sa Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) sa Central Visayas nga “minimal” lang ang pagsaka sa presyo sa mga palaliton sa rehiyon.

Matud ni Direktor Asteria Caberte sa DTI-7 nga sa 183 ka produkto sa basic prime commodities sa Central Visayas nga ilang gi-monitor, pito lang ka produkto ang may pagsaka ang presyo.

“Seven lang ang dunay price movement, so that is practically, 3. 84%, kaning condiments, canned meat products and sardines,” matud ni Caberte.

Dugang ni Caberte nga ang pagsaka sa presyo anaa lang sa 2.12% ngadto sa 10.42%  o dul-an piso sa aktwal nga presyo sa produkto.

Pananglitan ang usa ka sardinas nga tag P13.80 kaniadto, karon nisaka kini og P14. 95.

Gitataw usab sa director nga dili tungod sa Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law ang pagsaka sa presyo sa maong mga produkto.

“The TRAIN Law is a different factor, for example canned sardines, imported ang lata. The exchange of the peso and dollar. There are a lot of dynamics,” matud ni Caberte.

Ang DTI dili hinoon maoy mo-monitor sa mga produkto sama sa isda, utanon ug bugas, ug petrolyo.

Tungod sa gikatahong pagsaka sa mga palaliton, si Gobernador Hilario Davide III nipagawas og executive order sa pag-umol og Local Price Coordinating Council (LPCC) nga maoy mopatawag unya sa mga ahensya nga maoy mo-monitor sa presyo sa mga produkto.

Ang maong council pangulohan kini sa gobernador ug co-chairman mao ang regional director sa DTI-7 ug vice chairman ang provincial director sa DTI ug membro ang National Economic and Development Authority, Department of Agriculture, Department of Health, ug ang Department of Environment and Natural Resources.

Apil sa mahimong membro niini mao ang mga representante sa consumer’s sector, agricultural producers lakip na ang mga retailers, manufacturers ug trader’s sector.

Si Davide gikatakda nga makigtagbo karong adlawa sa LPCC aron mahisgutan ang pagsaka sa presyo sa palaliton sama sa bugas ug produktong petrolyo. Sa pagkakaron matud ni Caberte nga walay price ceiling o price freeze nga gipatuman sa mga nag-unang produkto.

Gitug-an sab ni Caberte nga nisaad ang mga manufacturers ug retailers atol sa tigum nila uban ang Secretary sa DTI nga ipadayon ang pagpatuman sa prevailing prices sa mga produkto sulod sa tulo hangtud sa unom ka bulan. (/GMR)(BANAT NEWS)
