The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh on Monday said Filipinos in Yemen are still advised to restrict non-essential movements and avoid public places as the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) maintains the alert level 2 in the country.

Seven Filipinos were killed last year amid violence in Sana'a, the capital of Yemen.

"The Embassy also urges all Filipinos in all cities and regions of Yemen to update their registration with the Embassy, or if they have not registered in the past, by accomplishing the registration form on the website of the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh www.philembassy-riyadh.org," DFA said.
