Passport courtesy lane now open to applicants aged 7 and below

MANILA, Philippines - The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Tuesday announced that its passport courtesy lane is now open for children aged 7 and below from the previous limit of infants aged 1-year-old and below.

"hese applicants do not need an appointment for their personal appearance at the Passport Division of the DFA in Aseana for the evaluation and processing of their passport applications," DFA said.

The state agency said the courtesy lane may accept passport applications of applicants aged 7 and below subject to the usual documentary and procedural requirements outlined under the Philippine Passport Act of 1996 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations under Department Order 11-97 and other passport-related regulations of DFA.

The list of passport requirements are posted on the DFA’s official website www.dfa.gov.ph or www.passport.com.ph.
