InLife rolls out global healthcare coverage, AI-powered wellness tool

MANILA, Philippines — InLife introduced its global health insurance product and AI-powered wellness app during a gathering in Cebu City on September 8, highlighting the company’s expanding healthcare offerings from hospitalization coverage to wellness monitoring.
InLife Global Care and InLife HealthCheck, were presented during “Harmonies in Life 2026: Care Beyond Borders,” an exclusive gathering of the members of Amorsolo Circle, InLife’s exclusive program for its high net-worth policyholders.
InLife Global Care addresses a hospitalization coverage gap
InLife Global Care is a health insurance product designed to provide hospitalization coverage and healthcare access for policyholders in the Philippines and abroad.
InLife Executive Chairperson Nina D. Aguas said illness knows no borders and that access to quality healthcare should not be limited by geography.
“InLife Global Care is a world-class healthcare product that expands the possibilities of care beyond our shores,” Aguas said.
She said the product gives policyholders access to a wide network of doctors, medical facilities, and healthcare services locally and internationally.
Health protection that offers up to P125 million in annual coverage
InLife Chief Product and Innovation Officer Jose Eduardo Ang said InLife Global Care was developed in response to rising medical costs and the limitations of standard health maintenance organization (HMO) coverage.
Ang cited medical inflation of 18.3 percent in 2025 and said hospital bills were increasingly exceeding the coverage limits of typical HMO plans.
“Most of us, we have HMOs from our companies, or maybe we bought for ourselves with the usual limits of 150,000, 300,000, maybe 500,000 pesos… And that's where InLife Global Care comes in. It's for anyone who needs to supplement their HMO plan for better and wider coverage,” Ang said.
InLife Global Care offers up to P125 million in annual coverage, with cashless transactions and care options through accredited healthcare networks in the Philippines and abroad.
“We want to make sure that if you get hospitalized, whether here or abroad, you have a cashless option so that it's worry-free,” Ang said.
Based on InLife’s official website, the product includes thousands of local healthcare provider partners and select international hospitals in South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and the United States.
Ang said that policyholders can access assistance during emergencies while traveling, with companions able to contact the company’s hotline for coordination with hospitals. For hospitals outside the network, policyholders may file reimbursement claims after treatment, Ang said.
InLife Global Care expands the Company’s existing insurance portfolio, which includes critical illness coverage, savings, and retirement solutions, offering Filipinos greater protection and support for their evolving healthcare needs.
“We already have critical illness coverages. If you get sick, we give you a lump sum payout. But are we there when our clients get the need for hospitalization?” Ang said.
He said the company recognized the need for hospitalization coverage that goes beyond what HMOs typically offer, including during the later years of life.
Clients may purchase InLife Global Care up to age 70 and renew it up to age 99, subject to the product’s terms and conditions.
He contrasted this with the age limits of some HMO plans, which may end coverage at 60, 65 or 70.
“We will not leave you when you need us most. And that was really the thinking behind it: Where else can you get world-class healthcare with Filipino Heart, wherever you are, confidently, with InLife as a partner who will be there for you to make sure those promises come true,” Ang said.
InLife launches AI-powered wellness app
Alongside InLife Global Care, InLife introduced InLife HealthCheck, an AI-powered wellness application that provides a point-in-time snapshot of more than 30 wellness indicators through a 60-second video selfie.
An InLife HealthCheck booth was set up at the event, allowing guests to try the app firsthand.
The application uses remote photoplethysmography (rPPG) technology and facial AI.
InLife HealthCheck is a proactive wellness tool, not a medical device or a replacement for clinical diagnostic tests.
Harmonies in life: A cultural celebration of life
After conversations centered on protecting health and securing the future, InLife turned the spotlight to another essential part of a meaningful life: the people, culture and experiences that make life worth protecting, through Harmonies in Life.
The event featured Filipino artistry, with singer Zsa Zsa Padilla delivering a special performance and the Philippine Opera Company presenting “Harana,” a musical journey celebrating Filipino heritage through traditional folk melodies, classic kundiman, and contemporary pieces. Harana highlighted the enduring strength of the Filipino spirit.
Total healthcare confidence
The launch of InLife Global Care and InLife HealthCheck highlighted a fundamental truth: true well-being encompasses physical and mental well-being, and the certainty of financial protection.
InLife aims to provide these so that when serious medical decisions arise, Filipinos have greater confidence through access to world-class care, delivered with a genuine Filipino heart and backed by more than 115 years of InLife certainty.
