Eala, Augur-Aliassime get early boot in US Open doubles

MANILA, Philippines — Alex Eala’s mixed doubles debut turned out to be a forgettable one.
This, after the Filipina sensation and partner Felix Augur-Aliassime of Canada had a quick night in the US Open mixed doubles at the Louis Armstrong Stadium in Flushing Meadows, New York.

The World No. Eala had been seeing action in doubles, but it was her first time playing in the mixed event, being paired with the ATP World No. 4 Augur-Aliassime.
The early mixed doubles exit though gives Eala plenty of time to focus on the US Open singles main draw.
