Bela, ilang beses naospital!

“She made me realize it is not always sunshine and rainbows in our profession. My whole life I treated this profession and job that way. And then it got challenging for a bit. But she made me realize why acting is important to us, why we love it so much, and why being a storyteller is important. She brought that back to me,” makahulugang pagbabahagi ni Bela.
“It helped me learn a lot about myself and the people I worked with. I am not gonna lie, napaso talaga ako.
“ I felt scared to be on set again. I did not want to do anything. I lost my fight. I felt this was so unfair. I did not want to say anything. Everything was easily refutable, even as simple as being late.
“I came on set even before prod. I was late once dahil kinagat ako ng aso. And I had to go to the hospital and they knew that,” paglalahad ng dalaga.
“I had to see so many doctors because it was affecting me on a physical level. I felt I could not defend myself. I was so stressed out. I couldn’t sleep and I lost weight. I dropped to 48 kilos. It was affecting me.
“I always look out for others. No’ng ako naman ang mahina, naghintay ako that someone would really help me in that moment. And a lot of people did. It might not be how I do it, they don’t have the same platforms as I do and may not be as vocal as I am, but I got the support I needed,” kwento ng aktres.
“Nakita ko talaga ‘yung hard work. I saw everything. I’m emotionally proud like I said na when I see her raising her trophy, iba ‘yung nararamdaman ko. I feel so emotional dahil nga nakita ko ‘yung hirap.
“For the people who don’t really know much about tennis, ang tennis is like running a marathon. While running a marathon, you’re playing chess and while you’re playing chess, you’re playing darts.
That’s not allowed in the court. Once you enter the court, kailangan prim and proper ka, maganda ‘yung get up mo, you’re ready to play. Ang nakita ko sa kanila first and foremost is the discipline. ‘Yung disiplina nasa kanila and they follow instructions. Makikita mo kaagad sa kanila na very coachable.
“If you’re not a tennis player, bawat kalaban kailangan may iba-ibang diskarte. Kailangan ‘yung bawat diskarte na ‘yon, master mo. If I can drop shot you, eh ang bilis mo humabol sa drop shot. I need to change,” pagdedetalye niya.
“Very close ako sa kanya because kami lagi nauuna sa court. We have to reserve the court. Magkapitbahay kami sa court. We have to be there very early. Siya nagwo-workout pa, naka-all white ‘yon, always ready. Kaya nakita ko ‘yung hardwork nila. I saw everything,” pagtatapos ng aktor.
