Blacklist International withdraws from PKL Fall 2026

MANILA, Philippines — Blacklist International has officially withdrawn from the upcoming Philippine Kings League (PKL) Fall 2026 season, ending the organization's run in the country's premier Honor of Kings competition.

The development was announced by the league on Wednesday, with PKL saying Blacklist had notified organizers of its decision to pull out ahead of the new season. Washed Up, which qualified through Open Series Split 6, also withdrew from the competition.

Team Alpha and MDM Esports were named as replacements for the vacated slots.

Blacklist's departure closes the chapter on one of the Philippines' most recognizable Honor of Kings teams.

Since entering the scene, the Codebreakers established themselves as a consistent contender both locally and internationally, regularly placing among the top teams in major events. Blacklist recorded multiple top-four finishes, including a third-place result at the Honor of Kings Invitational Season 3 and a top-four showing at the Honor of Kings International Championship last year, proving capable of competing against some of the world's best teams.

The organization's crowning achievement came in PKL Fall 2025 when it captured the league championship. Blacklist outlasted rival Boom Esports in a thrilling seven-game grand finals series to secure its first PKL title and cement its place among the country's Honor of Kings elite.

PKL’s 2026 Fall edition will begin this August 27. The fourth edition of the league in the country will feature an updated partner teams roster of Boom Esports, JGame Esports, TNT Tropang Alab, Titan Esports Club and newly promoted Team Nemesis PH, which replaced WETRND Esports in the partner team program.

The league will also adopt Honor of Kings Esports' new global competitive format, which sees a best-of-five regular season and best-of-seven playoff structure across all professional leagues beginning this year. Teams are also playing for the chance to represent the country in the Honor of Kings International Championship, happening this December.
