GENEVA (Xinhua) - After days of intensive talks, the UN Security Council five permanent members plus Germany and Iran, reached an agreement early Sunday morning, according to Michael Mann, spokesman of Catherine Ashton, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy who presented the P5+1group during the talks.

The P5+1 groups Britain, China, France, Russia, the United States and Germany.

No details of the agreement have been released up to now. It is said that the two sides will sign the agreement later at the Palace of Nations, the headquarters of United Nations Office at Geneva. The agreement would break up the decade-long deadlock over Tehran' s nuclear program.
